Texas Tigers Volleyball ... FINAL SEASON

2023-2024

"Well, it appears by all the heartfelt posts from parents and coaches that our little secret is out of the bag. Yes, it is true we announced at our End of Season Celebration last night that the TIGER SPORTS COMPLEX has been sold and our Texas Tigers Volleyball Club just finished its 19th and FINAL season.

This was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done and the decision was not taken lightly. It all happened very quickly and I really wasn’t sure what I was going to do until the very last moment. I am 100% transparent when I say God orchestrated the entire thing as we clearly were not looking to end our Texas Tigers Club Volleyball program with the 23-24 season. Texas Tigers has been our world for 19 years and we are sad to see it end but all good things must come to an end eventually. While I know the direct impact this decision has had on so many, I was told by a very wise friend that when one door closes, another opens. It is our hope that doors open for our Tiger families and coaches to take them places they never imagined. We love what we have built TOGETHER with ALL of Tiger families (past and present) and hold so much gratitude and respect for our Tiger parents, players and coaches. I will be forever grateful for the last 19 years and all the memories and friendships it has provided. But I will not lie that we are super excited to spend more time with our families.

I am excited to also share Top Tier Training on Cordova isn't going anywhere. In fact more class times, options and NEW membership discounts are available June 1st. Additionally, TIGER BEACH Sand Volleyball will continue as well! We have the best sand volleyball complex in South Texas with some of the finest coaches around.

While some things are changing, some things will remain the same. Stay tuned for more information to follow. "

  Tiger Beach Volleyball is HERE !

The Tiger Beach Volleyball Complex is complete!  EIGHT courts, FOUR of them UNDER ROOF!   Scroll down for program updates  !

Four sand courts under the moon and stars and four courts under a 45' tall roof unit that keeps the sand dry and cool!   There is LOTS of ROOM for enjoying the sport we all love!

In cooperation with USA Volleyball- Lone Star Region, we are so very excited to bring TIGER BEACH to the Lone Star Region.  Conveniently located just minutes from IH-35, Interstate 10, SH 130 Tollway, SH 46 and Highway 123, Tiger Beach will be easily accessed by most major thoroughfares. 

Formally known as Texas Tigers Beach Complex, TIGER BEACH is Texas' newest Premier Beach Complex offering 8 sand courts, 4 under a 45 ft roof  unit, 16 outdoor showers, 10 full size restrooms, concession stand, turf area for relaxation, picnic tables for eating and lots of parking.  

Tiger Beach offers many opportunities for all ages to participate in the FUN and get their toes in the sand!  

• USAV Junior sand training started in January and will run through July.  We offer 1 or 2x per week training sessions which will expand to 3x per week options in May. 
• Clinics are also available for ALL skill levels... from beginner to advanced for youth and adults!  Those are held in June & July.
• 4s and 6s adult leagues will start back up  on Tuesday evenings in March.  (contact admin@texastigers.org for more information.)
• Weekend tournaments are back on the calendar in March.   They will include Junior tournaments such as USAV qualifiers, AAU and AVP America and BVNE.  Adult tournaments for doubles and 4s will also be scheduled.  Check out the schedule   on www.volleyballlife.com and on our website www.tigerbeachvolleyball.org
• ADULT Open Play on Tuesday evenings 7-10pm will start back up end of February.  $5 cover per player.
