Price Breakdown

Tournaments that cost $215 will have R1s provided throughout the tournament. Tournaments that cost $150 will NOT have R1s provided throughout the tournament and teams will supply BOTH up and down officials.

NEW THIS YEAR ... Developmental Tournaments are designed for new, GREEN teams that have little to no experience.   Listed below are the main differences between the regular USAV tournaments and the Developmental ones:

  • Uniforms or numbers are not required
  • Sets to 15
  • 2 sets or 2 out of 3 sets in Pool Play
  • 1 set to 25 for Play Offs
  • Serving … anywhere between 10’ line and end line
  • Ball handling is called very loosely
  • Teams do not have to be a rostered CLUB within USAV but USAV membership is required for all athletes and coaches participating.

 It is a GREAT springboard tournament for newly formed teams but should not be regularly attended once the team starts to develop a solid skill base.

Registration

USAV  roster, printed from your Club Admin page, is required along with tournament entry fee.   One roster per team, per event must be submitted.   The roster does not have to be complete for an entry, but must at least contain the Club Director's name and Tournament name. AES rosters are acceptable.   Completed rosters are required 7 days in advance of tournament.  UNACCEPTABLE entries: spreadsheets, rosters with multiple dates, or your own club created forms.
